There are good reviews and bad reviews.
The most of bad reviews come from iPod Touch users.
Yes. I know it does not have a proper GPS hardware.
Its location services are based on IP address which requires internet connection.
Also it is not reliable.
Ok. I hear you. I know you guys want better.
I will solve this problem for iPod users on version 1.2 update. Maybe in June.
But for now, I have to finish my Uni degree.

hey man, app Is awesome. However, on my iPhone, even with loc services on it still uses the strett name. Is that something I've done or a bug?
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work.
Ben
Hey Ben, did you switch back to Loc Services on Location Control in settings? I have tested this switch back and forth numerous times and there is no bug. If you have done that and it is still using street name, try to reboot your iphone.
ReplyDeletehey Jay,
ReplyDeleteNah, didn't work. I turned the phone off and on, no luck, then uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Seems no matter what is selected, it's not using "current location". When the maps app comes up, it uses "your location". I just end up changing that in the maps app to "current location" and run from there.
Ben, Could you do me a favor?
ReplyDeleteGo to iPhone Settings > General > Reset > Reset Location Warnings.
After that, try again and tell me how it goes.
Cheers!
Oh I see, I found a bug.
ReplyDeleteNo matter what location control is in my app, "Direction to Here" will use street name. I'm really sorry about that.
I'll fix this problem asap and upload again!.
Thanks for the bug reporting.
No probs man, don't be sorry, you haven't charged us. You should put it up for sale now.
ReplyDeleteBen
